George IV (1820-30), Sovereign, 1822, laureate head facing left. Rev, Saint George slaying the dragon, date in exergue (Marsh 6; MCE 472; S.3800).
One of the first years of modern sovereign’s release. A scarce date to own, almost impossible to get one in such a high grade as there are only 15 coins in higher grades graded from NGC.
It has been graded from NGC as MS62+.
