1822 Gold Full Sovereign George IV-London

The 1822 gold sovereign was the second sovereign to be issued during the reign of King George IV. Interestingly, it was not joined by the half sovereign as that coin was not issued in 1822. Sovereigns were issued for George IV in each of the ten years from 1821 to 1830.
