In 2005 the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue St George and the Dragon £5 Five Pound Sovereign Gold Proof Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold and features a new portrayal of St George and The Dragon which has been Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.
Created by Timothy Noad, this modern interpretation of the centuries old story depicts St George locked in combat with The Dragon.
The obverse is the stunning portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
